Former Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks standout J.R. Smith is now a runner and gunner on the revamped Cleveland Cavaliers roster. This lot features Smiths Denver Nuggets game-worn road jersey from a December 25 2010 clash on Christmas against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Smith started and scored six points as Denver lost 114-106 to the Thunder. For the 2010-11 season the sharpshooting guard out of Benedict's Prep (NJ) averaged 12.3 points per game.
The Adidas light blue jersey features DENVER across the chest sewn on in white tackle twill outlined in blue and gold with his uniform No. "5" front and back in the same pattern. The Nuggets "N" appears below the neck with the special NBA Christmas Day snowflake patch to its left. On the front left tail is the Adidas manufacturer's tag with a MeiGray/NBA Authentics "DNU00228" code next to a size L label and LENGTH +2" flag tag. Inside the left inseam is the washing instructions tag and a small "07/10" manufacturer's date tag. The back of the jersey has an arched SMITH in white stitched directly onto the jersey with a Nuggets logo patch stitched above. The shirt shows appropriate wear and has been laundered. Comes as-issued and all-original.
