Selected first overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, Andrew Wiggins didn't even get a chance to play for the team that drafted him. Before the 2014-15 season began, he was traded from Cleveland to Minnesota in a three-team deal involving several players that brought Kevin Love to the Cavs. As a rookie with the Timberwolves, the Canadian prodigy, who starred in his lone college season at Kansas, averaged 16.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game to earn 2015 NBA Rookie of the Year honors. He spent six and a half seasons in Minnesota before joining Golden State in 2020 where he became a vital member of their 2022 NBA Championship squad.Presented here is a Wiggins rookie season gamer photo-matched to a December 1, 2014, road contest against the L.A. Clippers. Wiggins scored 14 points and added 2 assists in a losing effort for the T-Wolves. On the front left tail is the Adidas manufacturer's tag size "XL" with an attached flag tag reading "LENGTH +2". Handwritten on this tag is "14-15" as well as "22- Wiggins 12-1-2014" in black marker. Adjacent is an additional NBA tag with serial number "MTI01490". Across the front reads “MINNESOTA” in white on silver on black tackle twill. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “22” in white mesh on silver on black tackle twill. Below the rear collar is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the back is the player name “WIGGINS” in white tackle twill. This blue mesh jersey shows ample wear throughout and comes with a T-Wolves team letter from the equipment manager as well as a Photo-Match.com LOA.
