ADDENDUM: We were recently able to conclusively photo-match these shoes to a November 9, 2018 road game in Sacramento.
Featured here is pair of Karl-Anthony Towns Minnesota Timberwolves game worn & dual-signed Nike ‘Hyperdunk X’ player exclusive shoes from the 2018-19 season. The star big man averaged 24.4 PPG, 12.4 RPG, & 3.4 APG during his 2018-19 campaign, earning himself a spot on the Western Conference All-Star roster for the second year in a row. The white high-top sneakers with bright green accents and blue Nike Swoosh logos show obvious game use, full of creases, dirt/dust stains, scufffing, and other contact marks. The scuffs and/or dirt stains on the midsoles and heels combined with Nike's unique white spot pattern on the Swoosh logos have allowed us to conclusively photo-match this pair to a monster performance from Towns.
On November 9, 2018 in Sac-Town, KAT erupted for 39 points and 19 boards in a losing effort to the Kings. The massive size 20 shoes are properly tagged on the interior with his unique logo on the left heel. Towns has signed each shoe on the toes, the left with his autograph and the right with “God Bless!” inscribed, giving this snazzy pair great display appeal.
This lot is accompanied by a Beckett COA (Cert. #: T1117) for the autograph and a letter of provenance from a former Knicks ball boy.
