On November 5 1994 George Foreman at age 45 became  oldest Heavyweight Champion of the world in boxing history when he knocked out 26-year-old Michael Moorer in the 10th round of their WBA/IBF title fight in Las Vegas. More than 12000 spectators at the MGM Grand Hotel witnessed Foreman take down Moorer who entered the ring that night with a 35-0 record. Foreman dedicated his upset win to “all my buddies in the nursing home and all the guys in jail.” It was his second heavyweight title separated by 21 years and completed a courageous comeback by the powerful puncher. Foreman actually donned the same red trunks he’d worn in his “Rumble in the Jungle” defeat to Muhammad Ali twenty years earlier.

Presented here is a fine-looking "Nov. 5 1994 World Heavyweight Champion" 14K gold ring that George Foreman gave to his manager Alex Fried. That inscription surrounds a large red stone on the face. "ALEX FRIED" is engraved inside the band along with the initials "BM" for boxing manager and an additional “14K” stamp. One shank has “Big George Foreman” in raised relief with a pair of boxing gloves below. The other shank has the presenter of the ring promotion company “Top Rank” with the same boxing gloves depiction below. It weighs 26 grams and comes in size 11. Shows some wear but presents quite clean and remains in great condition.
