Featured here is a rare, color football game program from the 1939 NFL season. This program was from the Bears home game at Wrigley Field on November 5th, 1939 vs. the Green Bay Packers. It was game 7 of the season and the Bears edged the Packers 30-27.
Two of the iconic names in football lore, Halas and Lambeau, were the coaches of the squads that fall day. Bears fullback Joe Maniaci is pictured on the cover.
Condition looks to be a 6-7/10. It may cost you a bit more than the 1939 cover price of 15 cents, but a special and worthwhile investment for a football historian! A great piece of football memorabilia!
