ADDENDUM: First this is NOT a proof ticket. It is a full unused press box ticket. Second PSA has graded it NM 7 making it the highest graded full ticket example known with nothing rated higher. Minimum bid has been adjusted.
Offered here is an spectacular NM PSA 7 graded example of a NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION WORKING PRESS BOX full ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship fight between champion Muhammad Ali and challenger Floyd Patterson held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas Nevada on November 22 1965. Ali dominated Patterson who was attempting to win the Heavyweight Title for the 3rd time before scoring a technical knockout at the end of the 12th round. Ali could have done the job sooner but wanted to punish Patterson for still calling him Cassius Clay and being critical of Black Muslims. For this Ali mocked and humiliated Patterson throughout the fight. The mostly white ticket presents super clean front and back with no creases or indentations to speak of. What can only be described as light rounding of the corners keeps this ticket from grading even higher than Near Mint. With its PSA 7 rating this ticket stands alone as the only NM full ticket on the registry with absolutely nothing rated higher! A true 1/1 keepsake for boxing collectors! It should be noted that we sold a VG-EX PSA 4 example for $2167 in our Fall 2013 Premier Auction.
