Karl-Anthony Towns, better known as KAT, has established himself as one of the most versatile big men in the NBA. The 7-footer of Dominican descent was a one-and-done prodigy at the University of Kentucky before being selected #1 overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2015 NBA Draft. He was named 2016 Rookie of the Year and has made four All-Star teams. Showing off his deft stroke from long range, Towns won the 2022 NBA Three-Point Contest as well.Offered here is a pair of Karl-Anthony Towns game-worn and dual-signed Nike Hyperfuse sneakers from his 2015-16 Rookie of the Year campaign. KAT averaged a double-double as a rookie for the T-Wolves with 18.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per game to go along with 1.7 blocks. The blue high-tops with white Nike Swoosh logos exhibit solid game use, full of creases and scuff marks that allowed Resolution Photomatching to make a conclusive match to a November 10, 2015, game against Charlotte. Towns had 19 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks in a losing effort to the Kings. Photo evidence points to him wearing these in other games as well. The massive size 20 shoes (they look even bigger in person) are properly tagged on the inner tongues.
