Presented here is a 2004 New York Jets home jersey worn by wide receiver Justin McCareins in a Nov. 1 2004 game against Miami when McCareins caught his first touchdown pass as a Jet. McCareins played eight seasons in the NFL compiling 240 catches 3676 yards and 16 touchdowns including 56 receptions good for 770 yards and four touchdowns in 2004. The green and white mesh home jersey has his No. 81 front and back in white tackle twill with his name on the back in the same fashion affixed to a green nameplate. His number also appears on each sleeve in green tackle twill below the embroidered Reebok logo on each. Sleeves have green elastic trim and a white-and-green elastic panel on the shoulders and another pair of green elastic panels at the ribs. Jets embroidered patch is on the front left shoulder and the iconic NFL emblem patch is at the base of the V on the collar. A white strip tag appears at the back of the collar with 04-44. The shirt shows significant game use including dirt and staining most noticeably on his number on the front. McCareins has signed in black Sharpie on his number on the back with numerous inscriptions: 11-1-04 below his signature and First Jets T.D. stacked atop MNF Game Used and Jets 41-14." Shirt comes problem-free and without alteration.
