Featured here is a Dez Bryant game-used football from a October 5 2014 home game against the Houston Texans signed and inscribed by Dez and sourced directly from Panini as part of their exclusive contract with the Cowboys star wide receiver. The 'Boys won the game 20-17 in overtime on a Dan Bailey game-winning field goal. Bryant had nine receptions for 85 yards and a 2-yard TD catch from Tony Romo early in the 4th quarter. He played in all 16 games in 2014 recording 88 catches for 1320 yards and a league best 16 touchdowns. He'll be remembered most in 2014 for the incredible catch that wasn't (at least according to the NFL's meticulous "completing the process" rule definition) against the Packers in the playoffs which would have propelled the Cowboys into the NFC Championship. That play epitomizes the type of effort Dez Bryant gives every game. There may not be a more competitive fiery player in the NFL today.
The official Wilson '"The Duke" NFL game football has the special pink ribbon pressed on the leather in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Many players in that game including Dez wore pink to honor the league's continued partnership to raise money for the disease. Dez sported pink socks and a pink towel. The Commissioner Roger Goodall branded football is stamped "COWBOYS" and marked in black marker with "13.5" to most likely denote its legal pounds per square inch inflation level. Bryant has signed in shiny 9/10 silver on one of the bottom panels with his uniform number "88" and "10.5.14 1 TD" inscriptions. Ball shows appropriate game use.
