April 17 1947 handwritten letter written by New York Giants manager Mel Ott to a fan during a rainy day while staying in Philadelphia. Letter reads - "Dear Jack - I just heard you were a Giant fan so I thought I'd drop you a note on this rainy day. We're always glad to hear from our young Giant fans. Maybe you will be at the Polo Grounds for some of our games if you are come down and say hello.Mel Ott."Blue ink letter rates a 8-9/10 overall. Warwick hotel stationary measures 5 1/8" by 6 1/2" and is in great shape. has usual center mailing fold plus some very light toning at the bottom left side of the paper. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
